Breakdown

  • A leaked Call of Duty: Mobile weapon has an incredible cinematic
  • This weapon animation shows fans a diorama version of WW2
  • No release date for this weapon skin has been revealed

A gun skin for Call of Duty: Mobile comes with an incredible cinematic that has to be seen to be believed. This is a leaked skin so we don’t know when this cosmetic is going to be coming out, but it might actually be worth the money and that can’t be said for most microtransactions.

Leakers on Duty shared the Inspect Animation of the upcoming Mythic MG42 and it is simply incredible, giving fans a 3D diorama version of World War 2. In this cinematic, we see tiny little soldiers trying to avoid gunfire while an epic-sounding voice reassures them. PC Gamer says that Brian Bloom of Wolfenstein fame provides said epic voice.

We normally wouldn’t recommend getting microtransactions, even for a free-to-play title like Call of Duty: Mobile, but this might just be worth the money. There’s just so much effort put into this animation, which means a lot because the devs did not need to go so hard on something like an Inspect Animation.

CoD: Mobile is a mobile game that definitely relies on microtransactions, as this is a free-to-play title for smartphones and tablets. However, as we said in our review, this is a pretty feature-rich mobile game, so even with a couple of annoying F2P cliches, this is a quality shooter. Fans have a lot of content to play through, whether they want to pay with real money or not, though they definitely want your real money.

Gamers that might want a more “complete” experience can always pick up Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone 2 instead of Call of Duty: Mobile. While both of these games are solid multiplayer shooters, they tend to suffer from weapon balancing, which is a common issue for all these games. Fans can always expect balance patches to make things better, but another gun will come along and ruin everything.

Call of Duty: Mobile is now available on iOS and Android devices. No release date for the aforementioned weapon skin has been revealed, but it should be coming soon.
