Warzone players haven’t been enjoying Season 3 as much as they’d like, with a certain pistol combination dominating the scene and ruining things for everyone. Luckily, the developers are aware of this, telling fans that they’re going to work on nerfing the pistol and making things go back to normal.

Developer Raven Software has confirmed that the Renetti pistol is currently overpowered and that adjustments to the weapon will be released in the future. The fix isn’t immediate, so fans will have to wait a bit longer before the nerf comes out and simply get good at this shooter.

The Renetti pistol combined with the Jak Ferocity Carbine has been hell for Warzone fans, as players using this gun combo have demolished the competition. Some players have adapted and are using different weapon combinations to fight back, but it hasn’t been easy at all.

Getting a fix to this weapon combination is going to be great for everyone involved, though it won’t take long before another one comes along and ruins things again. Multiplayer shooters always tend to introduce new weapons that are too powerful and this won’t stop with Season 3, not by a long shot.

It will be interesting to see if this nerf will actually fix the current Season 3 meta of Warzone, though that seems to be the only major problem right now. Activision Blizzard recently boasted the fact that they banned over 27,000 accounts with their new RICOCHET anti-cheat. More ban waves are expected to come since cheaters never stop cheating, but this is a good start.

Call of Duty fans are eating good right now with Season 3, not just with Warzone but Modern Warfare 3 as well. Even if Modern Warfare 3 has a terrible campaign, the shooter’s multiplayer is still liked by fans and that’s all that matters, apparently.

Both Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 are readily available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC. Modern Warfare 3 is a full-priced game, while Warzone is a free-to-play title.
