Unique Characters

Similar to the first Stories entry, Monster Hunter Stories 2 also features a story with key characters in the story. Each character has a personality and has a clear goal and role on their place in the game.

The mainline Monster Hunter game works like a simulation and most of its story often have the main character as a generic Hunter who works and eventually reaches the highest ranks of the guild. The protagonist has no goal to adventure the whole world and is just doing their job as a hunter. Meanwhile, Monster Hunter Stories 2 pushes the main character to go on an adventure to help out a friend and a legendary creature while finding the source of a mysterious problem in the world.
