Monster Hunter Stories 2 features small hub areas filled with unique resources and loot. Some will only appear at a certain time of day, so you'll need to know how to change from Afternoon to Evening and vice versa. Monster Hunter Stories 2: How to Change the Time of Day
To change the time of day in Monster Hunter Stories you can do one of two things:
- Select the time of day when leaving a village hub. You'll get the choice of Afternoon or evening.
- Head to a Catavan stand and choose 'Wait Until Evening/Afternoon'. These are the same NPCs that let you fast travel.
Doing one of these things will change the time of day. The reason you may wish to do this is because certain resources like Duskshrooms only appear at certain times of the day. Furthermore, there are certain sub-quests where you'll need to switch the time of day to find certain points of interest, mainly when hunting down treasure using a treasure map.
