Just when you thought we'd reached the end of Monster Hunter Rise DLC, Capcom drops a big surprise: Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak is a substantial new expansion planned for release in summer 2022, bringing with it new hunter actions, more monsters, new locations, and more.
Here's how Nintendo described Sunbreak:
Capcom is currently working on a massive, paid DLC expansion for the hit Nintendo Switch game MONSTER HUNTER RISE. The expansion will include newly added stories, locales and monsters, as well as newly added hunting actions and quest rank. MONSTER HUNTER RISE: SUNBREAK is scheduled to be released in summer 2022. More information about this massive expansion will be revealed in the future.
So far, there's no word on how much Sunbreak will cost, but that will likely be included in future info drops.
