The next season of Modern Warfare and Warzone is just a few days away.
We know Warzone is finally getting the long-awaited subway system, and so much more is in store for players.
In the days leading up to the update, PS4 players can pre-load it now!
Automatic
This is not an unfamiliar practice for PS4 players.
As they have allowed players to pre-load big updates in advance a few days beforehand all the time.
The update is 20GB and it falls under version 1.27.
This was implemented overnight for PS4 users around the world, so you may have missed it.
Although you are able to pre-load it, you cannot install the update until the season goes live which is September 29 at 2:00 am EST!
Steps
If you have automatic downloads already on your PS4, just make sure your PS4 is on and it will automatically update.
If you do not have this setting on or your PS4 is off; here are some steps to following.
- Hover over the Modern Warfare or Warzone icon on your PS4 home screen
- Press the Options button on your controller
- Select Check for updates
Doing so will then trigger the download, and you should be good to go!
