Modern Warfare: Night Maps Playlist To Be Added To Multiplayer

With Modern Warfare now available, players are now exploring the maps that this new Call of Duty has to offer, especially the new night time settings now available in multiplayer. Certain maps will have a night variant, where players will duke it out with night-vision goggles equipped. Now, these maps will be getting their own playlist.

Night Maps Playlist

Infinity Ward will deploy an update to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to remove night maps from quick play matchmaking. Fans have asked for a separate playlist for these night maps, since the game went live across the world and it appears IW are obliging.

We're deploying an update that removes all night maps from rotation. We'll add them back in as a separate playlist at a later time. We're also removing the minimap from all hardcore modes. #ModernWarfare

When playing on night maps, he weapon attachments in Modern Warfare perform differently when the goggles have been equipped. Just like in the real world, you are unable to fully aim down the sights due to the size of the goggles.
