LW3 Tundra Cold War

There are a couple of routes to take when it comes to building the ultimate loadout for the LW3.

Armed with extremely high damage statistics, it can be used for picking off opponents from a distance or to create an epic sniper montage full of quick-scopes and quad-feeds.

Its ease of control in all scenarios enables you to have an impact on the course of the game regardless of playstyle, making it one of the better all-round weapons to use.

  • 28.2” Extended (Barrel)
  • Front Grip (Underbarrel)
  • Raider Pad (Stock)
  • Speed Tape (Handle)

LW3 Tundra Cold War Best Loadout

Secondary

XM4

  • Millstop Reflex (Optic)
  • Agency Suppressor (Muzzle)
  • 13.5” Paratrooper (Barrel)
  • Tactical Stock (Stock)
  • Mike Force Rear Grip (Handle)

For this particular loadout, the Lawbreaker Wildcard gives you the ability to run two primary weapons in the same class. We opted for the XM4 thanks to its excellent damage statistics and ease of control, the perfect weapon to deal with any enemies that get a little too close for comfort.

Lethal

  • Frag Grenade

Regardless of your position on the map, the frag grenade is always a solid choice. Cook it to perfection and throw it into a busy area of the map to guarantee a kill.

Tactical

  • Stun Grenade

Perfect for halting an enemy in their tracks, the stun grenade disrupts an opponent by slowing them down, making them an easy target for you to eliminate with the LW3.

Field Upgrade

  • Field Mic

There’s nothing more annoying than getting shot in the back when scoped in and about to hit a ridiculous shot from one side of the map to another. By selecting the Field Mic as your Field Upgrade, you’ll be able to hear the footsteps of any opponents looking to score an easy kill at your expense.

Perks

  • Flak Jacket
  • Tracker
  • Ghost

This trio of Perks is perfect for all styles of play with the LW3 Tundra. Flak Jacket increases your resistance to lethal equipment, while Tracker enables you to see an imprint of any enemy footsteps in the vicinity, giving you the perfect chance to sneak behind them and take them out without them ever knowing you were there.

Ghost is ideal for those wanting to sit back and pick off enemies from afar. It keeps you hidden from any enemy Spy Planes and also conceals your position when controlling any Scorestreaks, keeping you safe from anybody after a cheap kill.

Wildcard

  • Lawbreaker

This wildcard enables you to run a secondary weapon of your choice. Whether it’s a quick-firing SMG like the AK74u or something a bit sturdier like the M16, it’s important to have a solid secondary weapon when caught in a tricky situation with the LW3 Tundra in hand.

The Best Ways To Play

There are multiple styles of play that can prove to be effective with the LW3 - Tundra in hand.

The first involves lightning-fast reaction times. Quickscoping an opponent is one of the most satisfying things to perform in Black Ops Cold War and requires expert precision, supreme positioning, and those quick reaction times. To quickscope, move into a busy area of the map. Once you've seen a target heading your way, stop moving, aim down sights, and pull the trigger. With a bit of practice, you'll be making the Best Play camera all the time!

The second method is perfect for those that prefer to be more patient.

While sitting towards the rear of the map patiently waiting may seem boring, it is certainly an effective method of scoring kills. Position yourself towards the back of the map, overlooking a congested area, and pick off any targets that stray into your crosshairs.
