Metroid's Samus Aran May Be Coming To Fortnite, According To New Court Documents


The legal battle between Epic Games and Apple finally landed in court yesterday, and its brought to light some significant details. Alongside potential plans for both mobile and next-gen editions of Rocket League, we may have news of a future Fortnite collaboration too.

While we've recently seen some iconic character like Master Chief from Halo, Kratos from God of War, and Tomb Raider's Lara Croft, these documents suggest Metroid's Samus Aran is next. As we await Metroid Prime 4's much delayed release from Nintendo, she could be arriving on Switch sooner through Fortnite.

Metroid's Samus Aran May Be Coming To Fortnite, According To New Court Documents

Notably, this document uses fan art for Samus Aran and while it doesn't say much for current intentions, her arm cannon is... well, on the wrong arm. She's not the only new character speculated to join either, as Naruto was also spotted in these documents, alongside Die Hard's John McClane and Escape from New York's Snake Plissken.

Whether Epic Games' are still planning to bring these characters into Fortnite - and if so, when - remains to be seen, but we'll keep you informed with any further developments.
