Metroid Dread Special Edition and Amiibos
Nintendo has already announced a Special Edition of Metroid Dread that contains a steel game case, artbook, and art cards. There's also a two-pack of Metroid Dread Amiibos releasing simultaneously with the game. Orders have gone up across the US for special editions/amiibo, but they've mostly sold out so far.
Metroid Dread Release Date
Metroid Dread is set to release for the Nintendo Switch on October 8, 2021. A 2D title, the game is the fifth mainline Metroid game and will complete the story arc of Samus and the Metroids. While Dread may be the last game in the main series, Metroid Prime 4 is still coming, most likely in 2022.
