Marvel’s Avengers Arrives on Xbox Game Pass This Week

Marvel’s Avengers is joining Xbox Game Pass on Consoles, Cloud and PC this week, launching on September 30th.

Announcing this news through a Microsoft blog post, Hunter Wolfe, community coordinator at developer Crystal Dynamics, stated:

Every player with an Xbox Game Pass membership can experience the full game and all our post-launch Heroes and missions. This includes four story campaigns that showcase one or more Hero’s unique abilities, as well as our Avengers Initiative – our evolving online multiplayer world that lets you and three friends play as any Hero in our roster and embark on global adventures.

Accordingly, Game Pass subscribers will also get immediate access to the recent War for Wakanda expansion, which sees Ulysses Klaue infiltrate Wakanda to steal the nation's treasured Vibranium. However, it won't include the eight cosmetic items found in the digital-only Endgame Edition, so you'll need to pay for those separately.

For anyone jumping in on Thursday, you'll be pleased to know that the one-year anniversary event is providing players quadruple XP, letting you level up your heroes quickly. That's available until October 4th, and we'll keep you informed with any further developments.
