Life Is Strange Remastered Collection Delayed

Life Is Strange Remastered Collection is delayed until early 2022, the development team announced. Deck Nine originally planned to release the enhanced versions of Life Is Strange and its prequel, Before the Storm, around True Colors' release on September 10.

However, Wavelengths, True Colors' DLC, will launch September 30.

The team cited ongoing problems adapting workflows to pandemic situations as the delay's cause.

"We wanted to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life Is Strange team by giving more time between release of Life Is Strange: True Colors and the Life Is Strange: Remastered Collection," the statement said.

A follow-up tweet confirmed that those who pre-ordered the True Colors Ultimate Edition will still get access to the Remastered Collection when it releases next year.

Both Life Is Strange and Before the Storm benefit from improved visuals and animations and barring any other unforeseen issues, both will be available on all platforms, including Google Stadia, in early 2022.
