Knockout City Dashes Onto PS5 and Xbox Series Next Week

EA has announced that after a successful launch earlier this year, Knockout City's getting a new-gen upgrade on November 2. Previously available via backwards compatibility, that'll boost performance to 120 FPS on PS5 and Xbox Series X once those updates go live.

As part of this trade-off, PS5 and Xbox Series X versions can either play Knockout City with native 4k resolution at 60 FPS or at 1440p (PS5)/1620p (Xbox Series X) with 120 FPS performance. As for Xbox Series S players, that'll run at either 1440p with 60FPS or 1080p at 120 FPS.

Alongside this, that upcoming update promises enhanced lighting will provide a "richer graphic experience," alongside higher fidelity textures. Those are said to create "a more realistic environment, with ‘touchable’ surfaces that dodgebrawlers can almost feel as they sprint past every opponent."
