King of Fighters 15: 37th Character Maxima Revealed, Completes Team K' as Final Member

SNK has confirmed that King of Fighters 15's 37th character will be none other than Maxima. This character is almost always a staple ally to K' and accompanies him in every tournament. In this entry, he completes K's team after his introduction.

As seen on his trailer, Maxima is still the cyborg fighter who uses big, unstoppable strikes, grappling, and various technological weapons to subdue his foes. When caught in his grasp, Maxima will still rely on cornering his foes and overwhelming them with blasts from his Vapor Cannon. As a character, he is popularly known as a stocky grappler with reliable normals that shut down interruptions from his foe.

King of Fighters 15: 37th Character Maxima Revealed, Completes Team K' as Final Member

In the King of Fighters series, Maxima has always been in the team where K' is currently in. In the past, K', Maxima, and Kula Diamond were mostly seen working together after the series took off the protagonist focus on K'. For this upcoming game, Team K' will be composed of the inseparable duo, K' and Maxima, with the Team Ikari Warriors soldier Whip. Prior to King of Fighters 15, Whip has also teamed up with K' to join and investigate a prior tournament before.

After Maxima's reveal, King of Fighters 15 still has two more reveals left to complete the game's initial roster characters. We may see more character reveals in the last two months prior to this game's release in February 17, 2022.
