Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded release date
The release date for Season 1 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 3 has been confirmed as January 17, 2024. Activision hasn't confirmed whether players will be able to preload the update as of yet, but previous content updates have allowed Modern Warfare 3 players to download them in advance a couple of days before the full release.
Currently, there's also been no confirmation regarding the time that the mid-season update will be rolled out, however, based on the times previous seasons have been released, 5 PM GMT is the expected time of release for Season 1 Reloaded.
Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded new guns
Confirmed to be coming in Season 1 Reloaded will be two new guns for Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer. Respectively, the HMR-9 submachine gun and TAQ Evolvere light machine gun will be joining the already extensive array of guns on offer.
Whether these guns will be any competitive in Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer meta remains to be seen, although the addition of these guns adds a new opportunity for veteran players to grind their respective camos and experiment with some new loadouts.

Also confirmed to be coming in Season 1 Reloaded is the brand new Modern Warfare 3 map, "Rio". Set in Brazil's Rio de Janeiro, the map is one of the smaller ones currently in Modern Warfare 3. Nevertheless, the brightly-coloured, densely-packed streets ensure high-paced and energetic close-range gunfights.

Another feature that is confirmed to be coming in Season 1 Reloaded is the return of Ranked Play. The competitive game mode will be returning to Call of Duty upon the release of Modern Warfare 3's Season 1 Reloaded update, marking the debut of Modern Warfare 3's ranked system.
Season 1 Reloaded is also likely to see part 2 the Call of Duty x The Boys crossover event finally release, following part 1's release in 2023.
