Although the Modern Warfare 2 cycle is still in its infancy, Call of Duty 2023 leaks are already capturing the attention of the community that's already growing tired of Infinity Ward's latest release.

Following rumours of Modern Warfare 2 having a two-year cycle with paid DLC carrying fans over until Call of Duty 2024, it appears Activision has changed its mind meaning the franchise will continue its usual pattern of annual releases.

On February 9, an Insider Gaming report reveals the game will have a beta, a period of campaign early access, and an all-new multiplayer experience. Additionally, the report states that the game will also release on the previous generation of consoles which is great news if you're still using a PS4 or an Xbox One.

As always, take leaks with a pinch of salt until official confirmation emerges but in the meantime, it looks like a new CoD is coming after all.
