Horizon Forbidden West is shaping up to be something special as the most recent State of Play showed us plenty of gameplay that impressed, including better combat and a prettier world than the first game, something many thought was impossible at the time.
The sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn has a lot to live up to and from what we’ve seen of Horizon Forbidden West thus far, it looks like this game could surpass its predecessor, though it’s too early to proclaim something like that.

How Old Is Aloy In Horizon Forbidden West?
Interestingly enough, Aloy doesn’t look that different from how she did with Horizon Zero Dawn, which has led many gamers to wonder how old she will be in Horizon Forbidden West.
Plot summaries of Horizon Forbidden West have stated that it’s only been six months since the first game so if Aloy was 18-19 in Zero Dawn she should be 19-20 in Forbidden West.
We’re totally fine with Horizon Forbidden West not aging Aloy up since she’s still the main character in this franchise and we’re not expecting her to be changed anytime soon.
Maybe in the future, they will replace Aloy in a Horizon sequel but that doesn’t appear to be in the cards, at least not right now.
Still, most of us are happy that Aloy is still a young and fun character who will surely kick all of the ass while doing anime-style moves thanks to that new combat system, which we’re all looking forward to.
Horizon Forbidden West is coming to PS4 and PS5 sometime this year, though it could always be delayed.
