One of the main ways to enact this is by fusing weapons together to make new combinations. In this guide we'll explain how that works, so you can wield a weapon that truly nobody before you has held.

How do I fuse weapons in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

To fuse weapons together in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you'll need to use the new Fuse ability. This is a brand new ability in the game, letting Link attach items lying on the ground to his currently equipped weapon. The possibilities seem almost endless in Tears of the Kingdom, so Fuse will be your best friend.

However, it's not quite as simple as using Fuse and instantly having a new weapon to use. You'll need to be holding the weapon you want to use as the basis of your new fusion. Following that, you'll have to head into your inventory, take out the item you wish to attach, and drop it to the ground.

Then, simply hold the L button to bring up the abilities wheel, and select Fuse from the bottom. All you need to do then is choose whether to bind the item on the ground to your shield, sword, or an arrow.
