Throughout the Pacific era of Warzone, Raven Software has added a range of new operations to signify a major addition to the battle royale. With Season 5 introducing a range of legendary Call of Duty villains to Caldera, players can take part in a brand-new limited-time mode (LTM) known as Operation Last Call.

As the final season before the launch of Warzone 2, the Operation Last Call LTM introduces another alternative to the usual dose of battle royale action. On this occasion, the LTM takes inspiration from a hugely popular mode from Call of Duty's multiplayer offering.

Before we reveal more about Operation Last Call, check out our guide showcasing the best Warzone guns to use on Caldera, Fortune's Keep, and Rebirth Island.

How to play Operation Last Call in Warzone

Before dropping into the action, players can choose two ways to play Operation Last Call. The LTM gives players the option to pick between representing the heroes or the villains which offer different objectives to complete.

The heroes must defend a number of bomb sites scattered across Caldera while the aim of the villains is to plant and destroy the objectives. For those familiar with multiplayer CoD, this is extremely similar to Search and Destroy.

Throughout the match, bursts of lava will shoot across the map in addition to falling rocks appearing near Peak.

Warzone Operation Last Call event endings

Depending on which team manages to win the match, players will see two different endings. It's unclear as to what the endings show but we can guess it ties in with the arrival of several villains to Caldera and the Heroes vs Villains event that will take place at the same time.

Warzone Operation Last Call start date

While some Warzone LTMs make their way to the game at a later date, Operation Last Call will arrive on August 24, 2022, coinciding with the launch of Season 5.

Assuming there are no delays or server issues, you can jump into the LTM as soon as the update goes live.
