Understanding how the Warzone Eradication contract works is a surefire way of earning some useful items over the course of a match.

As part of the Season 2 update for Warzone, Raven Software has added a wealth of content ranging from the return of Fortune's Keep to the RAM-9 SMG which has the potential to spice up the existing meta. Rick Grimes also makes an appearance thanks to The Walking Dead crossover, which may explain why the undead has returned.

But, before we take a closer look at the Warzone Eradication contract, check out our guides showcasing all of the ranked play rewards and the best HRM-9 loadout for close-range action.

What is the Warzone Eradication contract?

The Eradication contract is a brand-new objective you can complete during a match on Fortune's Keep. It's worth noting that the contract is only available for a limited time and could well disappear before the Season 2 Reloaded update launches.

Once the contract has been activated, you'll investigate a corpse and follow the tracks towards a zombie nest. Clear out any cysts and the zombie boss to claim your reward.

The zombie boss you encounter is randomised every time, meaning you'll need to be prepared for numerous threats that could bring an early end to your game.

Enemies range from a Mangler, Mimic, and other undead monsters from Modern Warfare zombies that are extremely tricky to eliminate without plenty of coordination and communication.

Warzone Eradication contract rewards

For defeating the undead, you'll receive a cash reward. Raven Software hasn't shared just how big the reward is but we expect it to be enough to visit a buy station and obtain some items that are going to give you the best possible chance of being the last one standing.

It's unclear how long the contract is available so if you want to slay some zombies, the Eradication contract is the perfect chance to do so.
