What is the Outlaw Sniper?

The Outlaw Sniper is a brand-new gun in Valorant. This is the third sniper rifle in the game, giving players an additional option besides the Marshal and the Operator.

This new rifle stands out from its peers by having a double barrel and two different reload options. Due to the nature of this gun, it can fire off two shots before players are forced off of using their scope.

Though the Outlaw is a fictional gun, it looks like it’s a mix between the Blaser R93 and the MG42.

How to get the Outlaw Sniper

The Outlaw Sniper can be obtained by purchasing it with Creds during the Buy Phase of a round, just like any other weapon. The Buy Phase in Valorant occurs at the start of each round and lasts for 30 seconds, 45 seconds if it’s the first round of a half.

Every player will start a half with 800 Creds and can earn more by getting kills, planting the Spike, or winning a round. The Outlaw Sniper costs 2400 Creds.

What Agents to use the Outlaw Sniper with

While weapons in Valorant are available to every Agent, some can use certain types of guns more effectively than others. For instance, Jett and Chamber have the mobility to make up for carrying around a clunky rifle, while Omen and Raze can access vantage points and angles that aren’t available to others.

An Agent like Sova can also perform well as a sniper, as his kit revolves around scouting out enemy positions. So if you’ve found an effective way to use a sniper rifle with your favourite Agent then the Outlaw is worth giving a try.
