Best Light gun in The Finals

As we establish in our best Light loadout build, the M11 is the best gun to use with the Light character in The Finals. With a huge potential DPS of 375, the rapid-firing machine pistol is the best choice for players who are adept at controlling their recoil or firing in controlled bursts. The M11 also allows for fast and fluid movement while it is equipped compared to other options.

Also, the M11 boasts a large magazine size, with 40 rounds stored in the pistol. While your spray will quickly tear through the magazine, firing in bursts over prolonged engagements will help your ammo last longer than if you were using an XP-54 submachine gun, if you hit your shots.

Other great Light gun alternatives

However, the type of map you are playing can affect the distance of gunfights that you're taking, so it is good to have an alternative equipped in your reserve loadout that can offer more range, without sacrificing your chance of survival at close range.

For this, we recommend the V9S suppressed pistol, which is surprisingly versatile thanks to its combined high bullet velocity and rate of fire, which allows it to find success at any range. However, the lack of a scope may come as a significant drawback for some players, particularly when using it as a long-range alternative.

It's not unreasonable to suggest that the V9S is one of the better guns available to Light characters in The Finals, but we reckon the fire rate of the M11 is just too dominant at short range. Given that most of your fights will be at short range, the M11 edges out the V9S as our best Light gun.

Although the SR-84 sniper rifle undoubtedly has the greatest effective range of all the Light weapons in The Finals, few maps currently offer powerful sight lines that give you a huge amount of map control, and you'll probably struggle to get much use out of it.

The XP-54 submachine gun also fails to compete at higher levels, with the M11's rate of fire and magazine size dwarfing it in comparison.
