When does Rockruff evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? - All Lycanroc forms

Rockruff evolves at level 25 into Lycanroc. That's the same for all three forms, though you'll have to alter your approach to get each specific one.

Let's get into the specific evolutions of Rockruff. The first and easiest evolution is the Midday Lycanroc form, which looks like Rockruff but grown up. Once a Rockruff hits level 25 during the day in the game, it will evolve to the Midday form.

The next form is Midnight Lycanroc, which rests on its hind legs and is dark red in colour. Like the Midday, this form can be evolved when it hits level 25, at night in the game.

The third and final Lycanroc form is Dusk, which looks much like the Midday form, but is orange instead of grey-brown. To get this form, you'll need to do some fiddling. It only evolves during the evening time of game, so you'll need to keep an eye on it. You can check the time in the game by opening the map screen and looking at the indicator in the top middle of the map. When it is orange, it will mean it is evening! The Rockruff also needs to have the Own Tempo ability, which can be rare to find.
