Fidough is one of the brand new Pokemon that's introduced in these games, and it's a pretty adorable one. It's a Fairy-type puppy Pokemon, and elements of its body resembling pastries, as its name suggests.

Does Fidough evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

Yes, the Fidough you've caught in the Paldea region can evolve! It has one evolution and with its Fairy typing, this Pokemon can be a very valuable sniper for Fighting- or Dark-types. While we're not sure about what moves it can learn, it definitely has potential.

Some leaks have come out around what Fidough's evolution is. The Pokemon that Fidough evolves into is called Dachsbun. In contrast to Fidough's cream-coloured fur, almost resembling an unbaked bread roll, Dachsbun's fur is darker in colour. Its ears more resemble cinnamon buns, and its coloration is more cinnamon in nature. That's all we know about it so far!

When does Fidough evolve in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

At this point, we don't know exactly what level Fidough evolves at. However, we still have some solid guesses. We know that it only has one evolution, and typically other Pokemon with single evolutions usually evolve pretty early on.

We also don't know if an item is needed to evolve Fidough, as we're seeing a lot of that this generation. If no item is required, then we expect that Fidough will evolve at either level 18, or possibly as late as level 30.
