We know there will be seven different tasks to complete in the masterwork research part of Glimmers of Gratitude.

This is the first part of the tasks we'll have to complete:

• Catch 492 Pokémon from the Sinnoh region.
• Catch 492 Pokémon from the Johto region.
• Catch 492 Pokémon from the Hoenn region.
• Catch 492 Pokémon from the Kanto region.

As for the second part of the tasks, we know the following so far:

• Catch 10 Grass-type Pokemon – Burmy encounter
• Catch a Pokemon 5 days in a row – Pokemon encounter
• Catch a Pokemon on 15 different days – Pokemon encounter

We will update this guide as we have more information, keep in mind that the event will run until February 25th at 6 PM local time.

Pokémon Go Masterwork Research - Glimmers of Gratitude rewards

Indeed, in this timed quest, there will be some sweet rewards if you manage to complete all tasks. These rewards will include an encounter with a Shiny Shaymin, but that's not all, there will also be the following:

• 10,548 XP and 9,840 Stardust
• 10 Dialga Candy, 10 Palkia Candy, 10 Giratina Candy, and 30 Shaymin Candy
• 2 Rare Candy XL and 3 Rare Candy for Pokémon trainers up to level 31 and up
• 5 Rare Candies for those trainers who are at level 30 (and below)
• 60 Ultra Balls, 3 Rocket Radars, 1 Lure Module, 1 Mossy Lure Module, 1 Glacial Lure Module, 2 Incense.
