Weapon tuning enables players to adjust the performance of each attachment they decide to select. The feature isn't available as soon as you drop into the action and requires a huge amount of XP. Once unlocked, the customisation options are limitless.

Modern Warfare 2 weapon tuning explained
Firstly, you'll need to unlock weapon tuning in Modern Warfare 2. To do so, rank your gun to the maximin level. With some double weapon XP tokens, this doesn't take a lot of time.
Once unlocked, head to the gunsmith and select the small "Tune" option that appears above the attachment slots. This opens the weapon tuning menu.
At the moment, the feature is disabled due to a bug but Infinity Ward confirms it's investigating the issue.
How does Modern Warfare 2 weapon tuning work?
All Modern Warfare 2 attachments have a tuning menu and feature two sliding attributes. Moving it one way improves one feature while impacting the other meaning it's important to strike a balance.
For example, the Edge-47 grip has two sliders affecting speed and stability. Depending on your style of play, tweaking it for speed gives you the opportunity to outplay the opposition at the cost of weapon control. You can adjust it for maximum stability but movement speed is heavily affected.

With Call of Duty's next battle royale chapter integrating with Modern Warfare 2, the possibility of weapon tuning appearing in Warzone 2 is high.
