In order to open a Vault in Fortnite, you need to get a Vault Keycard. These are generally spawned then a Fortnite Highcard Boss is defeated. But where can you find these difficult to kill enemies?
Usually, they are located at the different vault locations, so once you're in the vicinity they should spawn. But they will only do so in the middle of the game.
The best way to make these bosses appear is to defeat all enemies in the location, prepare your best gear and weapons, and wait for them to make their apperance. After a bit, the Highcard and his two henchmen will appear, so defeat them to loot the vault keycard.
How to use a vault keycard
Once you got your hands on the needed keycards, then you are well on your way. To open the vault, just stand in front of the computer by the vault and interact with it. After successfully interacting with the computer, the doors will open. The loot is yours for the taking, enjoy!
