All Harry Potter fans know that unforgivable curses are the most powerful spells in the Harry Potter world, so there are legitimate concerns that they will break the in-game balance.

You can use unforgivable curses in the game, though you have to get pretty far into it first.

Unforgivable Curses in Hogwarts Legacy

As of now, only three curses have been officially confirmed by the developers. We do expect more to be added or confirmed soon, though.

Avada Kedavra

Avada Kedavra is the most famous Unforgivable Curse in the Harry Potter universe. It is a fatal spell and the only person who survived it is Harry Potter himself.

It is confirmed that Avada Kedavra will be one of Hogwarts Legacy spells that can instantly kill even the most potent enemies.

Crucio

Even though Crucio is less popular than Avada Kedavra, it is one of the most potent Unforgivable Curses in the Harry Potter universe. In Hogwarts Legacy, this spell will stun enemies for a short period and damage them significantly. Also, enemies targeted by Crucio will not be able to attack.

Imperio

Imperio is the last officially confirmed Unforgivable Curse in Hogwarts Legacy. It's an odd spell that makes enemies fight on your side, which can be helpful not only against powerful opponents, but weaker ones too. Also, all characters targeted with Imperio will get a green X-mark over them.
