There are two strategies for how you can beat Devastators in Helldivers 2. Either one will not take more than a few minutes, so read carefully and choose the most suitable tactics.

Devastators are heavily armoured, mid-sized robots, so they’re much slower than you might think. Moreover, their heads are heavily exposed while moving. So, if you can be precise with aiming, a few headshots will allow you to take down Devastator quickly.

However, keep in mind that Devastators use a variety of weapons, including shields, lasers, and explosives. Keep your distance from these bots and stay careful, as even a single attack from this strong enemy might make you suffer.

If you're struggling to shoot Devastators in the head, choose a strategy with armour-piercing weapons and explosives. Use shotguns or heavier weapons and fire limbs to slow them down. Then, you can use explosives like Eagle Cluster Grenade, Grenade Launcher, Autocannon, and Barrage to take down the bot.

Where do you find Devastators in Helldivers 2?

Devastators belong to the Automaton faction. Players can find them on the far western part of the map. They can be found at any difficulty level at random places, but you have the highest chance to encounter them on Automaton bases across the galaxy map. It's worth noting that Devastators are pretty rare to find. However, they get an increased spawn rate when selected as the objective.
