Helldivers 2 release date

The official release date for Helldivers 2 been set for February 8th, 2024.

The date has been confirmed in the latest launch trailer, which also confirms the platforms where the game will be released (see below).

Similar to the first game, this will be a 3rd person squad-based shooter where you will be tasked with defending the entire galaxy from the forces of evil.

The official announcement regarding the platforms for Helldivers 2 might come as a bit of a surprise, considering its predecessor, but we have to remember it has been quite a few years since the first game. Arrowhead studios is definitely targeting the PlayStation and PC platforms and seem to not be interested in any of the others.

Does this mean we won't ever see an Xbox or Switch version of Helldivers 2? Well, at this moment we can't say for sure, it is definitely going to be a while before we have any official information.
