Genshin Impact players are highly anticipating the upcoming livestream of the Special Program as it includes the newest region to be added to the game. With that, we bring to you this guide on the Genshin Impact 4.0 livestream countdown, promo codes, start time, and leaks.
Usually, Special Programs before a new update is released reveal upcoming content such as new events, banners, and quests. Travelers will also be able to witness a trailer that reveals more details about major content such as the new region coming out or a new character.
Genshin Impact 4.0 livestream
Like Hoyoverse's previous updates, players can expect a new explorable region within Teyvat for the 4.0 update. Back in Patch Livestream 3.8, Fontaine was already teased with the Traveler swimming underwater. Perhaps in this Special Program livestream, players may get more details on how this new region will integrate into the game.
Livestream countdown
The Genshin Impact 4.0 Livestream is expected to air on August 4, 2023 from 6:00AM to 11:00AM (UTC+8). This is around less than three days from today. So, be sure to check out what time will the livestream begin in your region. In line with that, we've also prepared some server livestream times for your reference:
- North America - 7:00 AM (UTC/GMT -5)
- Europe - 1:00 PM (UTC/GMT +1)
- Asia - 8:00 PM (UTC/GMT +8)
- TW, HK, MO - 8:00 PM (UTC/GMT +8)
Livestream promo codes
In terms of promo codes, these are to be announced during the 4.0 Special Program livestream. We currently have no information nor leaks about the codes yet so players are encouraged to stay throughout the livestream to take note of and redeem each livestream code.
So far though, some rewards players can expect include Primogems, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Hero's Wit, and Mora. We'll continue to update this part for the promo codes once we get more information.
Genshin Impact 4.0 Leaks
In terms of leaks, according to Randialos and Vississ, there have been some teasers on the 5-star characters that are expected to be part of the 4.0 banners. The character releases are divided into two phases for this update:
Phase 1 (August 16 - September 6)
- Lyney (5-star Pyro)
- Yelan (5-star Hydro)
Phase 2 (September 6 - September 27)
- Tartarglia (5-star Hydro)
- Zhongli (5-star Geo)
