As a prelude to Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, which will be Ancient Greece-themed, Epic Games has revealed a new batch of quests for players to complete during Season 1.
In this guide, we'll tell you everything you need to know about both the Odyssey and Mosaic Snapshot quests in Fortnite.
Fortnite Mosaic Snapshot quests - How to complete
There are two parts to this event, the first being the Mosaic Snapshot quests. These will be added periodically from now until Chapter 5 Season 2 ends.
Players are tasked with completing a Mosaic. You can earn individual Mosaic Tiles by damaging opponents, opening containers, and hitting structure weak points. Completing quests will grant you Mosaic Caches and Mosaic Emblems on top of a good chunk of XP to help you finish the image faster.
The quests available at the moment are:
- Speak with Odyssey about thee Mosaic - 10k XP
- Dig Mosaic Caches around the Windmills (three) - 10k XP
- Dig Mosaic Caches around The Cemetery (three) - 10k XP
- Investigate and catalog the Mosaic Emblem - 10k XP
We'll be updating this section as more quests get added.
Finding the Mosaic Caches is relatively easy as the locations you need to search can be marked on the map by highlighting the quest. Once you reach your destination, small markers will appear on the minimap, the caches look something like this.
Fortnite Odyssey quests - How to complete
These are smaller complimentary quests that will help you gain some XP and Mosaic Tiles. Only two are available at the moment.
- Spend bars in different matches (10) - 10k XP
- Damage opponents with Legendary or better weapons (500 damage, four stages) - 10k XP each stage
