Prior to Epic Games officially announcing the skin, the Black skin seemed all but confirmed, and was added to the Item Shop soon after. A scoop from renowned Fortnite leaker Hypex revealed it on May 7:
As per that tweet, it was assumed that the Goku Black skin would land in Fortnite on May 9, unofficially billed as Goku Day. However, that came and went without any new addition to the cosmetics rotation. Fortunately, there were only a few short days left to wait.
How do I get the Fortnite Goku Black skin?
With the Fortnite Goku Black skin out now in Fortnite, you'll have to purchase it in the Item Shop. Unlike the ongoing Find the Force quests that offer free Star Wars skins for completing objectives, it doesn't appear that the Goku Black skin is unlockable through gameplay.
Therefore, you'll have to fork over your hard-earned V-Bucks to get the Goku Black skin. Pricing is as follows:
