With Fortnite leakers sharing tidbits of information on what's to come for the new season, we can only piece together so much information on what Season 3 has in store for its map. Reliable Fortnite leaker, Hypex, revealed that according to the game files, the upcoming season will have jungles and volcanic rocks.
Allegedly, since the upcoming season will fall alongside the summer months. it's being hinted that the next map will be tropical-themed. This could bring a jungle-themed biome to players. There will be cacti, palm trees, and perhaps even a volcano as rumoured to be seen currently in Mega City.
Moreover, there could also be a mud feature that will slow players down when running through it. This perfectly fits the tropical theme, which revolves around the sunny and rainy seasons.
Alongside the map, there are also some tropically-themed crossovers such as a collaboration with the anime, One Piece. Leakers have found codes in files that match up themes of the anime with the season. It's likely we could be seeing skins of characters such as Luffy and his buddies.
Other than that, the rumoured map theme could also bring a surfboard-like vehicle similar to the Driftboard from Chapter 1 Season 7. Fortnite players will certainly be able to catch some waves during their matches if this vehicle pushes through for the next season.
