Did you manage to get a FIFA 23 beta code? Access to the closed playtest is now live, with lucky placers receiving a console-dependent coupon in their emails. Some hardcore FIFA players are baffled that they weren'tincluded, leading many to wonder whether more codes will land in the future.

In this FIFA 23 guide, we'll explain everything you need to know about the precious beta code. That includes how to get one, whether they're even still available, and how to ensure you meet the critieria to get one in the future. It's never too late to keep trying.

Elsewhere, feel free to check out how the FIFA 23 ratings are set to look like this year. We've also got details on when the web app launches, as well as the various modes included in this all-important beta.

How do I get a FIFA 23 beta code?

The only way to get a FIFA 23 beta code is by receiving a signup email from EA. To be eligible for this, you needed to have previously signed up for email marketing through your EA account, and also have played FIFA 22 at some point in the past year.

If you meet those critieria, there's a random chance that EA would email you over a code. It isn't guaranteed however, and there appears to be no way to ensure you definitely get a code. As such, a heavy dose of good luck was required.

Can I still get a FIFA 23 beta code?

Unfortunately, if you haven't already got the aforementioned email containing your FIFA 23 beta code, it seems like your luck has run out. EA sent all of the beta codes over on August 10, and it's unlikely that another wave of invites will go out.

However, that's not to say that it won't happen, even if it's unconfirmed. We recommend double checking that you've got marketing communications turned on, in the off chance EA feels generous and gives another batch of players the chance to give it a try. If not, you'll have to wait for the full game to release.

Are there FIFA 23 beta code Twitch drops?

At the time of writing, it appears that Twitch drops are not active for the FIFA 23 beta. Therefore, even if you watch streamers playing the demo - which tehcnically isn't allowed given its closed nature - you won't become eligibile for a code yourself.

Equally, it's unlikely that this feature will emerge at any point in the future. EA Sports has never done it for FIFA games int he past, so it probably won't happen this time around.

How do I opt into FIFA 23 marketing emails?

While you may have missed out on the FIFA 23 beta code this time around, you can always ensure you become eligible for future draws of this nature. To do so, you'll need to opt into FIFA marketing emails.

To do that, log into your EA account and head to the Account Email Preferences section. Make sure that your email comes up as the primary address associated with your account, and tick the box to say you're willing to receive marketing emails and updates. It may be too late for FIFA 23, but you could get lucky with the next annual entry, EA Sports FC 24.

That's it for our look at how to get a FIFA 23 beta code! While it may seem like all hope is lost, you never know if another sporadic code drop will land. If not, take a look at all the FIFA 23 icons we expect to see, to drum up your hype for the game.
