Instead, you'll need to talk the talk before you're able to run the walkway. Get those helmets ready: it's a long way down.
In the works for a good long while now, the Fall Guys event in Final Fantasy XIV comes shortly after the reverse: a FFXIV-themed Battle Pass in the popular bouncy battle royale where bean-themed versions of Square Enix's lovable characters were offered up as timely rewards. Remember Haurchefant? He's back! In bean form. Not really, but you get the idea.

How to start the FFXIV Fall Guys event
To unlock the Fall Guys event in Final Fantasy XIV, you just need to head to the Gold Saucer in Thanalan.
There, speak to Lewena in Entrance Square. You'll see her sitting by one of the tables. Grab the Just Crowning Around quest from her, head to Wy the Blunderville Gatekeeper in Wonder Square, and you'll be well on your way.
In Blunderville, head over to the counter to complete the quest and then to the Blundeville Registrar to the right to sign up to a FFXIV Fall Guys match.
How often are FFXIV Fall Guys matches?
A Fall Guys show in Final Fantasy XIV begins either when 24 players have been matched together, or after a set period since the first person entered the queue.
You can skip the wait entirely by forming a 24-person alliance and registering together. Light and full parties can also register together, but you'll still have to wait for the show to full up to 24 players to trigger.
How to leave the FFXIV Fall Guys Blunderville area
To head back to the Gold Saucer without simply teleporting back and wasting Gil, just walk to the side opposite the counters. Speak to the Blunderville Gatekeeper to return to Wonder Square.

Once you're ready to participate again, talk to Wy the Blunderville Gatekeeper in the Wonder Square area of the Gold Saucer.
How to unlock the Gold Saucer in FFXIV
If you're joining the game for the Fall Guys event, you'll need to play through the main story quests up to the level 15 quest that sees you finally leave your starting city.
At that point, you can unlock the Gold Saucer by completing the It Could Happen to You from the Well-heeled Youth in Ul'Dah around the X:9.6, Y:9.0 coordinates.
