How to get all Dragon's Dogma 2 endings

Dragon’s Dogma 2 offers three different endings with unique outcomes, that are determined by choices made in your final quest. The three endings can be described as Good, Bad, and True depending upon the choice you have made.

The good ending

To achieve a Good Ending in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to take down the dragon residing on Moonglint Tower as a part of the questline, Legacy. The Dragon has taken one of your Pawns and to get him back, you must fight the dragon. To initiate the fight, move towards the dragon and attack him which will start the good ending.

Now you ride on the Dragon’s back and will be taken into the arena where the last showdown will take place. Bear in mind that this is going to be an extremely challenging experience to defeat this dragon. However, once you have defeated the Dragon, you will see a few cutscenes of the coronation ceremony, making you the new ruler of the city.

The bad ending

In the case of the bad ending in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you will need to walk away from the Dragon during the Legacy quest instead of fighting. After the Dragon agrees with your choice, you will watch a cutscene where the Arisen comes back to the Castle Hall of Vernworth to be crowned in an empty throne room.

The true ending

The true ending of Dragon’s Dogma 2, however, is more complicated and is hidden in the game’s lore and needs attentive exploration throughout the game. Firstly start the fight with the Dragon during the Legacy Quest. Now ride on the Dragon’s back to reach the arena. However, move towards the Dragon’s Glowing Heart instead of waiting while riding the dragon.

Pull your Empowered Godsbane Blade from your inventory and choose Use on self while holding the dragon's heart. This will strike both you and the dragon, causing you to crash into the sea. Now the game will reveal a series of cutscenes that are used to communicate the consequences of your actions.

However, it is important to note that, triggering the true ending does not immediately conclude the game but instead transports you to a ruined World.
