How to cure Dragonsplague in Dragon's Dogma 2

The Dragonsplague is incurable by any known traditional means, but there are alternative approaches to suppress its spread or completely cure it, albeit with death. Dragonsplague is a rare affliction found in Dragon’s Dogma 2 that infects any kind of pawn there is. Even the permanent pawns can succumb as well.

It can be caught during combat encounters with dragons or by enlisting infected Pawns from other realms. You need to be wary of summoning high-level pawns as they are also more likely to be carriers. The signs may be subtle at first and may not explicitly appear in their status once they are infected.

If you doubt whether your newly enlisted pawn may be infected, you can dismiss the infected one outright or dismiss all pawns in your party without a second thought. By doing so, you halt the spread within your party. Then, you summon new pawns from a Riftstone and monitor their behaviour for early signs of infection.

Symptoms include (but are not confined to) inexplicably luminous red eyes, coughs, erratic behaviour, or when they are rebellious enough to shout, "Don’t tell me what to do!" at you. As if that weren't enough, they will morph into a wraith dragon and assassinate the town's NPCs if you fail to handle it in time.

You need to be drastic once your main pawn is infected. If you have failed to notice it early enough and would rather not risk infecting any other pawns, you’ll then need to sacrifice your main pawn without immediately reviving them. Fortunately, you can completely sever its ties with the affliction when it finally respawns at a Riftstone.

That wraps up all you need to do to cure your Pawn's Dragonsplague in Dragon's Dogma 2. If you're in search of more, check out our guides on finding the Queen Regent's room and finding evidence in the basement sickroom to uncover the wrongdoings in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
