The story before Diablo 4
The story of Diablo 4 takes place 50 years after the events of Diablo 3, which means that the demon lords known as the Great Evils are beaten. Also, the rogue archangel Malthael no longer threatens the world, and it can be said that Sanctuary has lived in peace for these five decades. However, everything changes with the arrival of Lilith.

What happens at the end of Diablo 4?
At the end of this game, we witnessed another battle. Lilith killed Inarius and made an attempt to absorb the power of her father. However, the player managed to find Mephisto first. Despite all the attempts of the Great Evil to ally with the protagonist, his soul gets trapped in the Soulstone.
