How to show fps in Counter Strike 2

According to the information we have so far, it seems that you can see your FPS number in the same way you can do it in CS:GO. Just follow the next steps and you will enable it in Counter Strike 2.

  • Open the settings menu
  • Make sure that you enabled the Console
  • Open the Console. Usually, you can do it by clicking on the Tilde button
  • Type the [cl_showfps 1] command in the Console
  • After that, you will see a number in one of the corners of your screen. This is your current FPS!

With help of this number, you will be able to check your PC’s status and monitor its performance. If you see some FPS drops at certain points, then you should lower your graphics settings.

How to turn off fps in Counter Strike 2

In order to turn off fps in Counter Strike 2, you need to enter the same command, but instead of 1, type 0. After that, the number in the corner will disappear. However, we don’t recommend that you disable fps, as it doesn’t take up much space, and helps you keep track of your device’s performance.

Numerous factors affect your fps, from gunshots to grenade explosions. If you enable fps, you will be able to see what exactly causes fps drops and find out how to deal with them. Don’t be afraid to lower your graphics, as this may help you make the game feel smoother and improve your gaming experience.
