How to unlock Spear in COD Mobile

Season 2 of COD Mobile brings with it a lot of new content for you to enjoy. The new season titled Lunar Dragon will bring a new Battle Pass and relevant rewards for you to grind through. That's not all, however, as players will also be able to unlock the Spear melee weapon in COD Mobile.

The Spear is a powerful and unique new melee weapon that you can equip as your secondary weapon of choice. You can get your hands on it by completing a specific series of challenges while grinding the new Battle Pass. Let's go over the specifics of how to unlock the Spear in COD Mobile.

How to unlock Spear in COD Mobile

Activision confirmed in their developer blog that you can unlock the Spear melee weapon through a Seasonal Challenge. The Spear is not part of the premium track of the Battle Pass so you can get it without having to spend money in-game.

Alongside the Spear, there will be other highlights added to the free track of the Battle Pass such as the Jet Boost Battle Royale class and the new Type 19 Assault Rifle.

The in-game description for the Spear reads:

“This traditional melee weapon was favored by many warriors throughout history and is known for its diverse attack styles in the field, prioritizing improved practicality and power with modern reproductions.”

The Spear has a significantly longer range than most other melee weapons and hits pretty hard as well. The accuracy and fire rate are both a bit questionable, but that just means landing hits and getting kills with the Spear will be all that more satisfying.
