The latest COD Mobile Season ushers in many fresh changes alongside it. With each weapon category seeing various tweaks and adjustments, all the weapon tier lists for this Season have also shifted. For the heavy hitters out there, the COD Mobile shotgun tier list is included in that group and knowing which is best to use makes all the difference.

COD Mobile shotgun tier list

Here’s all you need to know about shotguns in Season 1 (2024).

S-Tier

• R9-0: A favourite among pros and a user-friendly rapid-fire double-barrel shotgun that excels in quick eliminations while maintaining mobility. Its Smoothbore attachment adds versatility. It’s still the best shotgun in the game and is almost peerless.

A-Tier

• KRM-262: The R9-0's only real rival, the KRM-262 offers one-shot kill potential up close and impressive medium-to-long-range performance with a tight pellet spread, making it an excellent second choice.

B-Tier

• BY15: Distinguished by its exceptional range within the shotgun class, the BY15 offers versatility but lags in mobility, accuracy, and control.
• HS0405: Slightly inferior to the BY15, the HS0405 trades range for better mobility but falls short in fire rate, accuracy, and damage.
• Echo: A semi-automatic shotgun with a quick fire rate, suitable for those who may struggle with aiming. However, it lacks the high damage found in other shotguns, so it only barely makes it into B-tier

C-Tier:

• Striker: In the automatic shotgun category, the Striker, although arguably better than its peers, lacks the damage to be a viable choice in the current Season 1 meta.
• JAK-12: Fully automatic and forgiving for less accurate players, the JAK-12 sacrifices damage output compared to its counterparts, making it less viable.

D-tier

• HS2126: In need of significant rework to become viable, a burst-fire shotgun with the highest fire rate but lower damage and range than other shotguns.
