This compact gun features a high rate of fire alongside high mobility levels perfect for close-quarters action. However, a fast fire rate means levels of recoil that are hard to control. Thanks to the gunsmith there are numerous attachments that can tame it.

With Season 5 right around the corner, we're unable to determine the best RA 225 loadout. Due to its compact size and fast rate of fire, we expect a build to reduce recoil and extend damage output will prove popular.

Best RA 225 Vanguard attachments

After testing various attachment combinations, we've come across one particular build that excels in the vast majority of scenarios. Regardless of distance, these attachments make an impact in multiplayer.

• Muzzle: Recoil Booster
• Barrel: Moravec 18" Needle
• Stock: Moravec MB
• Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
• Magazine: 7.62 Gorenko 32 Round Mags
• Ammo Type: FMJ Rounds
• Rear Grip: Leather Grip
• Proficiency: Momentum
• Kit: Quick

This build improves various areas of the RA 225 including damage output and fire rate. The M1941 Hand Stop and Moravec barrel guarantee low levels of recoil while the FMJ Rounds make it extremely easy to shoot through the breakable elements of the map.

Additionally, the combination of Momentum and Quick significantly improve mobility which is perfect for escaping any sticky situations.

Perks

• Survival Training (Perk 1)
• Forward Intel (Perk 2)
• Lightweight (Perk 3)

Survival Training provides resistance to any incoming flash and stun grenades, allowing you to maintain focus on your intended target. Up next is Forward Intel which shows the spawn locations of enemy players on the minimap.

Lastly, we've gone with Lightweight for a faster movement speed in order to make the most of the immense mobility of the RA 225.

Equipment

This unorthodox combination of equipment suits an aggressive style of play. The Gammon Bomb explodes as soon as hits anything which makes it perfect for some initial damage to any incoming opposition.

Smoke grenades are incredibly versatile. Choose to block a specific sightline or throw it at your feet if you need some improvised cover to escape a sticky situation.

Is the RA 225 good in Vanguard?

Although Season 5 of Vanguard hasn't started yet, there's every chance the RA 225 slots into the close-range meta with ease. Despite stiff competition from other SMGs in the category, its supreme mobility will set it apart from the rest of the crowd.
