The end of the Pacific era of Warzone is on the horizon. The switch to Caldera combined with a mix of World War II and pure fiction missed the mark, leaving many to look forward to the launch of Warzone 2.

With Season 5 on the horizon, the final season of the Pacific era aims to end the first chapter of the battle royale on a high with a number of villains making their way to Caldera for a potentially explosive ending. In addition, the new season sees the arrival of the EX1 energy rifle.

Armed with unlimited ammunition, the rifle is arguably the most unique weapon to arrive in Warzone. Before we reveal the best EX1 Warzone loadout to use, don't forget to check out our guide showcasing the best Warzone guns to use.

What is the best EX1 Warzone loadout?

With Season 5 not out for a few more days, we're unable to determine the very best set of attachments to use on the EX1. As it's classed as an assault rifle, we expect an attachment combination featuring a larger barrel and magazine to make an impact.

Once we've had a chance to test the EX1, we will update the guide with all the latest intel.

Best EX1 Warzone attachments

The EX1 is an exciting addition to the Warzone arsenal. Not only does it move away from any WWII or even Cold War aesthetic, but it also doesn't fire any bullets meaning attachment selection will prove decisive for those looking to succeed with the rifle.

With plenty of possibilities, there's a chance the best EX1 Warzone attachments will look different to other assault rifles proving popular. Once we've experimented with various combinations, we will share a full attachment list.

Best EX1 Warzone perks and equipment

Once the best EX1 attachments are ready to go, focusing on a combination of perks and equipment to suit your style of play has its benefits. Here's what we recommend using as part of a loadout.

Perks

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill/Ghost (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

EOD continues to prove popular thanks to the explosive resistance it provides from incoming grenades. For the second perk, we recommend grabbing Overkill at the first loadout drop before getting your hands on Ghost with the second. This allows you to have two primary weapons and conceals your location from any enemy UAVs while roaming the map.

Last and by no means least is Amped. The increase in weapon swap speed makes it very easy to switch between your secondary and the EX1 depending on the situation.

Equipment

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Stim (Tactical)

This combination of equipment continues to prove popular thanks to its versatility. The frag grenade can deal some additional damage while the stim provides a temporary speed boost in addition to a sudden injection of health.

Is the EX1 good in Warzone?

As Season 5 hasn't started yet, it's impossible to tell whether the EX1 is a viable option in Warzone. Once the season begins and we've had a chance to use it, we will share if it's worth levelling up and mastering.

That's all there is to know about the best EX1 Warzone loadout. For more, check out our guide containing all the intel on the next Warzone double xp event.
