How to fix Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 audio issues

Some players have experienced issues when playing the game on the PlayStation 5. There's apparently a bug that prevents them from hearing any sound in-game. This issue is something that can't be ignored as sound is certainly important in giving players an immersive experience.

Disable your 3D Audio

To fix the sound bug and other audio issues that may arise for Baldur's Gate 3 on PlayStation 5, you simply need to turn off 3D Audio. This can be done in just a few steps, which are as follows:

  • Head to the PlayStation settings by pressing the gear icon on the upper right corner of your screen.
  • Select the Sound menu option.
  • Then find the 3D Audio option for your sound device.
  • Lastly, toggle the "Enable 3D Audio" option to disable it.

Try saving and restarting your game

Just like any other game or tech-related problem, it helps to restart your game or device.
