How to find Alan Wake 2 Kalevala Knights lock safe combination

Alan Wake 2 has plenty of puzzles and combinations to solve throughout the duration of the game, and the Alan Wake 2 Kalevala Knights lock safe is one that you no doubt want to crack. The door it protects is to access an office where two members of the Cult of the Tree are hiding out. However, unlike normal combination locks, instead of actual numbers guarding its secrets, the Kalevala Knights lock is made up of indecipherable runes.

How to open the Kalevala Knights safe in Alan Wake 2

In order to find the runes needed to crack the code on the lock on the office door, you'll need to explore the Kalevala Knights workshop. Just behind the large centrepiece in the room you'll spots stacks of what looks like junk, just outside the office door.

If you head around these stacks you'll discover a giant coffee cup, with one of the symbols from the lock combination painted in red. If you look up in the direction of the sign that says "Bright Falls 81st Deerfest," you'll see two other runes also in red painted onto the stack of junk.

What is the Kalevala Knights office door lock combination in Alan Wake 2?

Now that you've found the correct runes, you'll need to work out how to input them into the lock to crack it open. Luckily, the order the runes need to be used is actually the order in which you see them, from top to bottom.

So put the diamond-shaped rune at the top, the sideways hourglass in the middle, and then the normal hourglass-shaped rune at the bottom section. That should then allow you to open the lock and therefore open the office door in the Kalevala Knights workshop.
