There are two ways to acquire the Ironwall Spell artifact in AFK Journey. The first method is by completing the "Check on Lucent Tree" step in Story mode. This mission takes place in the Dark Forest 5 region, where you'll embark on an adventure to explore an island and ultimately defeat a powerful boss.

Before you can even access this island, you'll need to complete the Lucent’s Lament story mission in Dark Forest 7. Once you've accomplished that, you'll unlock the island and be one step closer to claiming the Ironwall Spell artifact as your own.

For those of you who are feeling a bit impatient or just want to take a shortcut, there's another way to obtain the Ironwall Spell artifact. You can simply purchase it with real money.

Every AFK Journey player gets an option to purchase the Welcome Bundle at the beginning of the game. This pack includes the powerful Ironwall Spell artifact and a bunch of Stellar Crystals as well. But as mentioned earlier, you'll need to shell out your pockets if you want to acquire this pack.

What exactly does the Ironwall Spell artifact do? When equipped, it bestows powerful blessings upon the frontmost allied hero at the beginning of a battle. This blessing increases their Physical Defense and Magic Defense by 15%, while also boosting their Energy on Hit by 20 for the duration of the battle.

Additionally, at the start of a battle and every 12 seconds thereafter, the ally receives a shield equivalent to 20% of their maximum HP for 6 seconds. And here's the best part – this blessing cannot be dispelled.

As you continue to enhance the Ironwall Spell artifact, its effects become even more potent. At its +4 upgrade, the value of gained Physical Defense and Magic Defense for the blessed allied hero increases to 20%.

And at +8, if the blessed hero is defeated, the blessing effect will be transferred to another living allied hero in the frontline. This transfer can only occur once in each battle, but it's a game-changer when it comes to keeping your team resilient in the face of adversity.

In terms of stats, at +10, the Ironwall Spell artifact provides a Haste boost of +6 and a Vitality boost of +9. This makes it an invaluable asset for bolstering the durability of your frontline hero, especially if you're still working on acquiring duplicates for your tank hero. After all, a strong tank is essential for protecting your team – if your tank falls, the rest of your squad is likely to follow suit.
