GTA Online has been dominating on every system it appeared in, whether that’s on the PS4, PC, or Xbox One and we can only imagine how much more money Rockstar Games will make when the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions come out, though a lot of people are wondering when we will see GTA Online or GTA 5 come out on Nintendo Switch due to how popular that system is.

It would be easy to say that GTA Online is too powerful for the Switch since the multiplayer title runs on PS4 and Xbox One, with a PS5 and Xbox Series X version also on the way, but GTA 5, the game that GTA Online is packed in, originally came out on PS3 and Xbox 360, which the Switch is just as strong as, if not more powerful than.

Is GTA Online Coming To Nintendo Switch?

The fact that we don’t have GTA Online, GTA 5, or even any GTA games on Nintendo Switch is pretty shocking since you’d think the PS2 games like Vice City or San Andreas would get ported by now.

Rockstar Games did release L.A. Noire on Nintendo Switch, alongside the PS4 and Xbox One versions, so many assumed that this would be the prelude for GTA on Switch but that’s not meant to be.

Currently, it seems doubtful that GTA Online will be coming to Nintendo Switch just because Rockstar seems to have put all its attention on the PS5 and Xbox Series X versions, along with the existing PS4, Xbox One, and PC ports.

We like to think that a Nintendo Switch version of GTA Online or GTA 5 is in the works but considering Rockstar’s output on the system, it just doesn’t seem likely.

GTA 5, which comes with GTA Online, is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
