GTA 6 Won't Be Set In The 80s, According To Leaker


Another day, another GTA 6 rumour, this time concerning the game's time period.

We've heard some rumours that the game could return to the 70s or 80s, following the modern setting of GTA V, but one leaker has refuted that on Twitter.

GTA 6 Won't Be Set In The 80s, According To Leaker

Industry insider Tom Henderson, who has previously leaked information related to Battlefield and Call of Duty, responded to a request from a follower asking for information on the much-anticipated follow-up from Rockstar.

He was brief, but fairly emphatic:

Of course, Rockstar has yet to officially confirm that GTA 6 is in development, although there's more than information out there pointing to the game's existence.

Time will tell whether Henderson is on the money once again.
