PlayStation Reaffirms God of War Ragnarok Will Launch This Year


Following God of War (2018) arrival on PC, Sony's reminded fans that God of War Ragnarok is still coming to PS4 and PS5 this year. As one of Sony's most anticipated games, hopefully it won't be much longer until we get a further reveal.

Speaking in a new blog post, PlayStation recently discussed 22 games coming to PS4 and PS5 this year, where God of War Ragnarok remains listed. While no definitive release date's been given for the upcoming sequel, this article list the game as having a "TBC 2022" window.

PlayStation Claims God of War Ragnarok Will Come Out In 2022

That's not to say God of War Ragnarok won't get delayed later on into 2023, but at this time, Sony's confident it'll remain on track for a 2022 release. We'll have to wait for any further announcements from Sony otherwise.

God of War Ragnarok is currently scheduled to launch this year on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this year. When asked about a potential PC port recently, God of War (2018) director Cory Barlog confirmed he wasn't sure at this moment. Fans who still haven’t checked out God of War (2018) can now do so on PC, in addition to PS4 and PS5.
